ABOUT
About Katherine
I’m a Denver-based aerial dance performer and instructor specializing in dance trapeze, with additional training in aerial silks, lyra (single and double point), and sling. My work focuses on intentional movement, emotional clarity, and using the apparatus as a partner in storytelling. I bring a cross-apparatus approach to both training and choreography, allowing movement principles and creative ideas to inform one another across disciplines.
Whether you’re brand new to aerial or an experienced student looking to deepen your practice, I aim to create a supportive, thoughtful space where technique and artistry grow side by side. I teach students ages 9 and up, with a focus on building strength, confidence, and a stronger relationship with movement—both in the air and beyond it.

WORK WITH ME
Coaching
GROUP & PRIVATE LESSONS
I coach aerial dance students ages 8 to adult, focusing on clear technique, thoughtful progression, and developing comfort and expression in the air. My teaching draws from dance trapeze, silks, lyra, and sling, with an emphasis on movement quality, musicality, and helping students build a stronger relationship their bodies, the apparatus, and movement in the air.
Performance
TRAPEZE, SILKS, LYRA
I perform aerial dance for theaters, events, and community spaces, with work centered on storytelling, musicality, and intentional movement. My performances span dance trapeze, silks, lyra, and sling, and I collaborate on custom acts that fit the space, tone, and audience of each event.
